I just realized I only have 2 games from the "only for GBC" era
Did I miss much?
Yeah
>Wario Land 3
>Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble
>Megaman Xtreme 2
>Shantae

Everyone missed Shantae though.
The only one I have is Donkey Kong Country which my mom gave to me because she either confiscated it or found it on the playground at school. I can't remember which. She was a pre-kindergarden teacher at the time.

I knew someone working at a game store buying an extra copy or two when it just came out because he knew of the limited numbers in print and a good deal of its features and history.

Also Pokemon Crystal.

Wario Land 3 is amazing
I do have a question though guys, a bit off topic but a lot of original GB games had accurate colors when popped in GBC (like Mario's hat being red) even though they were developed before GBC was conceptualized
I was thinking about how amazing Final Fantasy Adventure looks with its color palette and wondering what magic did they use to achieve that?
Did GBC have coding for every original GB game in existence or what?

Might be the GBC utilizing a cartridge's Super Game Boy enhancements.

The GBC/GBA have a bunch of built-in palettes for original GB games, and I think the boot ROM assigns different palettes to certain games depending on their cartridge IDs.
Wario Land 3 is worth a play.
