Got mine last night. Which display mode do you /vr/igins prefer? Can't decide between CRT and Pixel Perfect.
I plan on getting a proper RGB-modded NES and use it on a CRT soon, but I actually prefer Pixel Perfect on NES Classic thus far.
I actually like how shitty the CRT filter looks, I use that or pixel perfect on mine. The 4:3 mode looks weird unfiltered imo.
Pixel Perfect is what I use mostly.

that's what it's called you dumb shitposter

It is indeed. And it's by far the worst option you could choose. Why would you want to deal with a narrow-ass screen? You wouldn't.

If I'm not playing NES/FC on a CRT, I generally prefer square pixels, simple as that. It's not like it's an inch wide or something. The stretching just looks shitty on an LCD.

4:3--why would anyone use that? It's the shittiest one.
The CRT filters on here aren't very good, so I use Pixel Perfect.

From what i read, 4:3 ALWAYS HAD DISTORED INCONSISTENT PIXELS.
Its just that the CRT scanlines smudge them enough to make then unnoticable, is the sad truth.

4:3 TVs don't have pixels, dumbass
