What's the best way to play my precious 480i games on a VGA 480p CRT monitor?
>>3692397
by pluging it in the monitor:^)
In 1280x960@30hz (yarrrrrr) through emulation or a framemeister

I have a budget of $100.
I was thinking of buying a converter or buying a CRT.

Obviously buying a good SDCRT is best value option
>>3692397
get a 200 lbs. 32 inch flat screen crt using component

Easily. Post your local Craigslist, your car and max dead-lift assuming you have no friends to help you
>interlaced gaming
Absolutely disgusting
Okay here in europe you cant buy crts anywhere. On ebay they are very expensive like 200+ for 20 inch
Guy I made my crt monitor output 640x480_120i and 720x480_120i via the nvidia panel. does this mean i could connect a console via rgb or component to vga cable to the crt vga monitor?

Not much of a choice on the PS2. Less than 10% of its library is progressive scan.

>480p
What console are you using that does 480i and can't do 480p?
>>3694445
those are not the same. the monoprice version is a ripoff with missing features.

480i 4:3 component is idea for ps2 and a good deal of og xbox look better like that then 480p
Also 480i 4:3 CRT TVs are cheap as fuck and many of them are meant for couch co-op.
What's the difference between 480p and 480i anyway?
>>3692638
Try $25. Craigslist is excellent for CRTs.

One's progressive, one's interlaced.
