Dendy was just another of the many, many famiclones that existed all around the world. Kinaman made Dendy famous on youtube, but the most common famiclone was the Family Game.

The micro genius consoles were unique in that the hardware is pin compatible with the original famicom. You can take the CPU/PPU from an original famicom and pop them into the famiclone. The clone chips are socketed specifically for this purpose.

I can easily find them here, specially the Polystation model. But to tell you the truth i wont waste 15 bucks on a mediocre NES clone.

yeah, i had one of those as a kid. In front of the N64 controller you have a second player port, the power supply connector, the AV out and at the bottom the cartridge slot. When all the shit is hooked up, it weights a lot and is hard to play.

I bought this piece of shit for the equivalent to 7 or 8 petrodollars at a street market. It's in the form of an early Windows 98 era PC, and it comes with a keyboard and a """mouse""". If you turn it on without a cartridge, it starts up an interface that's kind of like Windows 3.1 with games but the highlight of it is that it comes with a bootleg version of Famicom BASIC. I have no idea if it uses Famicom or NES cartridges though, I haven't got any of either around so I can't test it.

This is true. The early Dendys from the 90s were full on hardware clones. But anything you buy these days that is branded as Dendy (or subor, or simba's, or pegasus, or whatever) is going to be a system on a chip. It's much cheaper and most people never notice the difference.

A 10 year old feature phone has "better hardware" than a "normal famiclone". That doesn't make it particularly useful for running famicom games though. The sb-2000 and similar devices are interesting but not a great way to play games.

I got some info on it. HG 101 says it was from 1994, but then I see some box with a blurb written in hieroglyphs dated December 1993. In any case, I guess it was after the NES game.

They don't even exist AFAIK, unless someone delved into this post 2000.

As for Chinese, can't say I know any. If you haven't seen Dendy Chronicles, there are 2 exceptionally well-made ports of SNES/Genesis Aladdin and Lion King, but they aren't original games of course.

A lot of Nes clones had this thing: your TV could catch someone's console signal if you're living in panel building. So it was like watching someone streaming their gameplay, I really enyojed it back then. Anyone can explain the reason it was catched? did NES had the same feauture? anyone remembers and can share a story?
