What are other games with the same gameplay from Prince of Persia? Is there any terminology to refer to this specific sub-genre f paltforming?
From the top of my head, there's Flashback and Abe's Oddisee.

From Wikipedia.
Nosferatu for the SNES come to mind

This is the most complete list of cinematic platformers, to my knowledge. Not all of them are /vr/, mind you.

Bermuda Syndrome ?
Not really the same type of gameplay at all, but Moon Crystal on Famicom is definitely inspired by Prince Of Persia, at least as far as character animations go.

I'd call it 'grid-locked platformer'
it also self-explains the controls, which some retards somehow don't understand and instead call them 'shitty'

I can't decide if this is actually a good game but it sure as hell looks cool. How did they rotoscope non-human monsters?

What's the best Prince of Persia? SNES version is different and the others are mostly the same (other than graphics) right?

Even though you're correct, what I wonder if the name really means Alah'jinn or The god of Genies
>>3658454
I'd figure, yes.

Thanks. Actually, it is a 10 of 10 game, almost perfect and interesting with various locations and beautiful end, like fairytale. But the last fight with snake is easier than previous one, so only 9.
Maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but Generation Lost on the Genesis is cool. One of the better 16-bit stories.
