>taking apart old cartridge/video game for repair or cleaning
>the fucking screws/screw holes strip, making it impossible to take apart
2/3 of my NES games are impossible to open up because they have 1 screw that just spins in place and can't be removed.
What the fuck is this? Why does it keep happening?
Grab some tweezers and pull the screws out
Use a philips bit instead of pozzy drive you pleb

Because that's a story you made up. I've never once had a screw break on me, let alone to 2/3 of my games.

I didn't say the screws break. I said they become impossible to open, either because the head wears down and my security bit can't grab hold of them, or because the little plastic screw holes wear out and the screw just starts spinning in place.
Why would I make up a story about something so specific?
