I'd be OK with a list for getting started with retro gaming. Not the whole "before you post" aspect. Not everyone starts out with these experiencs right off the bat.

If you made any such list, you'd have to put a hard cap on the number. Something in the double digits, or hell, even single digits.

There are so many games out there on so many systems in so many genres, you can easily have two people love and be knowledgeable about retro games without liking any of the same fames between them.
