Can anyone help me identify what game some music is from?

For about the first 20 minutes of this video, there's some music that's clearly from a retro game. I cannot figure out what it is even after hours of listening to old vg OSTs.
It all sounds like it's probably from the same game, but I could be wrong. i'm not sure.
The music alone makes me want to play it though, so i hope someone here knows.

I wish I knew. These instruments are commonly used but I wanna go on a limb and guess this was handled by someone at Kemco, Natsume, or Nihon Falcom. Could be any run of the mill jap dev
