Actraiser is a fun game, but you can beat almost every single boss in the same way

The hole game can be beaten by trading blows on almost every boss until like the Frost Wyvern. You can even beat Tanzra the same way.

It's kind of hard to do that on the final boss rush, though. But then again, you can use Magical Stardust to decimate most of the bosses.

Quintet's other games like Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia were the same way. Enemies have little to no invulnerability after taking damage so you can just wail on them for as long as you can stay close. It made some of the bosses pushovers but I still like just going apeshit berserk sometimes and getting away with it.

Good luck trying to do that on european action mode. Bosses deals double damage throughout the game and quadruple damage during death heim. You're not gonna be trading blows for long.
