Plus I have one question about BFM: what was the point of leveling up in that game? Does it actually make your attacks stronger or unlock anything useful in the game? Or is the leveling system just cosmetic?
No, sometimes, no thanks, yes, the point of leveling up is doing more damage and taking less damage and charging faster, it's pretty useful, particularly leveling Fusion and your Mind stat to charge as fast as possible since you're going to have to do a lot of that during one particular fight and some people have trouble mashing the button that much.
