How many of you had this VHS? I found a copy at Goodwill for like a buck. I also have the N64 preview VHS that I somehow got sent from Nintendo Power. I never even had a subscription and I think I only ever bought a couple of issues, yet I still received a tape. I think I might have responded to a contest or something.

The straight to video Mortal Kombat animated "movie" The Journey Begins is the funniest thing I have ever found at a thrift store.

Horrible, hideous animation on early 3D backgrounds. It's fucking gold.

The Nintendo 64 kiosks shit all over the PS1 kiosks holy shit, this one looks like it was cobbled together in a junkyard in 5 minutes...
My local Toys R Us had one of these. You'd hit one of the squares and they play a brief trailer for a game or console
Colecovision had one of the nicest kiosks. They had arcade sticks built into the cabinet alone with the coleco keypad.

>Muh CRT
>The way devs meant to be prayed.
Why no scanlines?
>>3593601
Do you really think you can tell if there are scanlines from a washed-out photo of a <22" screen taken several feet away?
>>3593623
But scanlines mean quality, anon. /CRT/ told me so. They would not shill me, amirite?
i remember back in the day my local best buy, when it actualy had shit inside u could purchase, used to have a kiosk in the center with n64 on 2 sides, gameboy on the other 2 sides. Pic related.
one n64 was hooked up to the giant monitor above that could be viewed from anywhere in the store. I wish I had a pic of that.

I used to go into sears and play sonic for hours while my mom shopped.

Thinking about this, it must have been a Laserdisc player or perhaps a VCD. Kinda ridiculous for a store kiosk in the early 90s.
>>3588598
There used to be one of these in my city back then.
>>3598925
remember seeing these all over the place. Just about every Sears or Caldor or Woolworths had them in the electronics section
They had one of these at a daycare I used to go to when I was four. I don't think it even worked properly. I have no idea how a daycare got ahold of it.

There was a Pokemon Stadium unit at a children's hospital I used to go to. I don't know who expected kids to have their game boy games with them at the doctor's office, but it just seemed strange to me
