Is Retro gaming like N64/PSOne enjoyable on a 9 inch Sony PVM like the one in the image?
This question is better suited for the /crt/ thread:

9 inches sounds too small for my dumb dirty dog eyes, but it might work for you
14 inches is hell, 9 is not even worth picking up.
20 is the legit minimum.

No PVM is worth it, retard.
YES, i'd get me one to put in my bathroom and hook to mah NES classic edition via hdmi to component adaptor and play zeldy while i blast stool out of my pooter hole lmao

Yeah. If it has RGB input it'll be fine if you have it on a desk.
I actually play everything up to my GameCube on my 9" PVM
I sit about 2 feet away from it so it's all fine for me
I wonder what type of retard our OP is.
- Retro-hipster who missed PVM train and now all 20 and 14 inch monitors in his area are sold out.
- One of these clowns who "don't have space for CRT"

PVM is garbage.
Get a consumer Trinitron or Toshiba with a large screen
PVM only looks good because the screens are miniscule and my roommate hated it because we couldn't see anything we played on the couch
the screen is 8" you fuck, they didn't come in 9". only 8", 14", and 19", and 20". 14" is maser race as the CRT isn't fucking huge yet the screen is still large enough to enjoy

It depends how far away you are from it. The screen that came with the PSone was garbage, but it was still kind of neat to play PS1 games shrunk down that small. It was like a PSP before we had the PSP.

9" is the screen size, 8" is the "visible picture"
It's the same for 20", that's there screen size but their visible picture is 19" so there's no 20" either you fuck
It'll be fine if you're playing at a desk.
You'll probably want to put it up on a stand or angle it upwards by putting a block of wood or something under the front of it, unless you have a really short chair.

there are 19" and 20" actually, but not 9"
>tfw grew up playing NES on a 6'' b/w portable CRT TV

>Samsung
I wish. I think it was some kind of K-Mart store brand or something.
>>3569223
Fair enough. I did the same as a child. That samsung I just grabbed at the goodwill and left out on the curb for another anon to have a laugh with after a few weeks.
dont fall for the meme a component in 20" name brand consumer set is better than a 8" pvm and probably the same depth or less.
20" is the minimum, my cuz has a 14" pvm and it's cramped for 2p.

As someone who uses a 9 incher, it's fine.
