What are some great PC Engine and PC 98 games? Recently got into both systems and am finally experiencing some of these games I never knew about.

PC Engine was the PS3 of the 4th gen.
How much Japanese do you know and what genres do you like?

No japanese, but I can fumble just fine if the game is worth it. I enjoy pretty much all genres except in depth slow strategy and mmos.

Has Rondo of Blood ever been given a Fan Translation? Just the Japanese text translated into English, of course. With extremely high accuracy of the translation.

You may get through non-CD PCE but you're not going to enjoy many PC98 games without Japanese.

Yeah they do seem to be mostly vn's. I had some fun with snatcher and night slave on pc98 so far. yu-no seems cool but i might have to try the english patch for the pc version.

Yes, but it's been years since I've seen the iso for it. I do remember that the title sequence was unskippable in it, though.

Try Revival Xanadu. Intro and ending aside it's entirely in English.

I found it the other day on a different computer. Even put the link in the Castlevania thread.

There's heaps of versions on isozone. Even one with the v/o off the PSP version
If you're interested in the PC-98 and its games, some guys have started up a Discord community around it.
