I'm not sure what "typical favorites" are. Is Rocket Knight a typical favorite? Is Ristar? Shadow Dancer is less well-known than the other two Shinobi games. Does it count? Not trying to be a twat, just not sure where the cut off is.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Makyo Toitsusen is maybe my favorite game that I think is fairly obscure by most standards, though.
