Check the picture in this post and notice how it goes along with what Juri Lina was saying in his book:
http://www.conspirazzi.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/lina-sign-scorpion.pdf
about how the "Red Scorpion" was a symbol of a secret society the USSR and that's why it's also used in both the "Command & Conquer Gold" and "Command & Conquer Red Alert" video games.

I know Ukraine is an independent country and not "Russia" but Ukraine used to be part of the USSR and was part of the "Russian Empire" some time before 1917. I think that is what he was trying to say. We're not trying to offend people and make them angry by saying that Ukraine is or is not part of some other political entity because it's obviously independent now.

It still doesn't prove that stating "Russia: Kiev" is right. If it was USSR: Kiev, it would be understandable.

>underages making their presence even more obnoxiously apparent
Back during the Cold War, the USSR was colloquially referred to as "Russia" or the "Ruskies". Stop trying to correct people about things you know nothing about.

The last level of that game takes place in my sister's old neighbourhood before I moved to the US and she and I moved to Yorkville together and people thought we were a couple.

Guess you better go back in time to correct everyone, kiddo.
What's the best version of Tetris?
>>3521764
Tetris & Dr. Mario (SNES)
2-in-1 port of both games for SNES, features split-screen and in-depth options, based on the GB/NES versions of both (aka the best versions) with 16-bit graphics and sound quality
>>3520004
Most obvious answer.And best.

They never actually name the armies in that game, except in the Japanese version, but even in the American version it's very CLEARLY supposed to be a cold war theme.

It seems like every 90s Japanese game had to have a Russian girl in it. At least if it had a big cast.
>>3525048
name one
>>3520831
this level is set in Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, but developers obviously didn't knew that Kazakhs are mongol muslims.
>>3524351
Strider is set in 2048, which is pretty far away, so I like to imagine that this is how future will look, USSR will be revived and jungles will be full of batshit crazy feminists who think they are amazons.
>>3525257
Modern Russia is already like an early 90's post-apocalyptic OVA.
>>3525257
>Strider is set in 2048, which is pretty far away, so I like to imagine that this is how future will look, USSR will be revived and jungles will be full of batshit crazy feminists who think they are amazons.
That would be incredible, and I'm saying that as a guy living in the former eastern bloc.
>>3525102
didn't you just name one?

What the hell is that... did they go and make a city plan based off of Tetris
>>3525275

>>3525892
Norilsk is certainly visually impressive, but it's not the most fair comparison because it's the largest city in the world built on permafrost. You can't exactly compare it with it's counterpart in Canada, because the Canadian version would have like an airstrip and an igloo. The commie block city plan is designed to be surrounded by greenery, but since Norilsk gets like one month of that a year most of the time it's pretty bleak.
