For basically any other game? No, I'm there with you. But god damned if FFIX doesn't earn it.

It's like how Martin Scorcese could get away with making non-fantasy movies last for 3 fucking hours, when anyone else would be laughed out of the production meeting. The quality of the work is just that high.
