What's the best (HD?) shaders for Crash Bandicoot 1-3?

Also any way to get rid of the (texture?) flickering that happens around objects when running PS1 games at 1080p (4:3 of course) etc.

I'm too impatient to wait for the remastered trilogy so I'm starting a playthrough now

PGXP might be annoying to setup, but is the ONLY PS1 emu that does texture perspective correction. And it has nice anti-jitter feature too. It uses xbr texture filtering by default. You can turn that off in the ini.

I don't have a framemeister or PS1 RGB cables but I have the best cables for every other console I own
Dreamcast VGA, Genesis RGB + stereo etc.

Does the framemeister also allow lightgun games to work on newer TVs or am I wrong?
