Posting the obviously best one

That bit at the back by the bridge, the shaded embankment under the trees. I want to sit there.
Maps you say?
I'd anticipate up close is the norm.
>>3439007
Damn, that one's a lousy size.
Hmmm, what's this...
>Wah, wah, the image is too large!
>>3439036
Where's all the other details there, how dare you not have one with them like for the rest of the dump, SLACKER?
>>3439048
Yes, let me get right on that as Lavos fucks the world and brings about the apocalypse.
>>3439047
How do you not remember the Kingdom of Zeal? Where the pendant gets charged up and the game really takes off!
>>3439050
This made me cum. Love this style. And i got my own fantasy universe.. I wish I had a map like this...
>>3439068
I don't know. It's probably been 11 years since I beat it or even played it last, so it's quite possible I just don't remember it.
>>3439085
Okay, there might be a few more like it...
This one might not be from a game...
>>3439130
Whoops, that's way off!
3 more slim chance ones...

Some System Shock.
And Ultima Underworld.

>that point where the path branches into two
wooooooooow
final fantasy XIII truly is hardcore, that's probably why people hated it, they got lost
I've been everywhere, man.

Post > yfw you realized the entire map from Zelda 1 is in the map for Zelda 2
Can't forget this one!
incoming c64
>>3439372

-system shock 2
-not mine, but looks like Zelda
-icewind dale
-some unfinished add on for BG2, AFAIK
-some gold box game, IIRC
-next 4 are probably just AD&D maps
-Doom 2

>working your way back to brinstar after killing kraid
>knowing the shinespark and space jump would be introduced in later games
>>3439530
For real? Isn't that kind of a stretch?
>>3439580
It's for real. It is called Death Mountain in both games.
>>3439289
I can't tell if that's a level from a Wizardry game, or a place from Might and Magic.
>>3439727
It's a stretch
>>3441817
Still seems like a nod than DEEPEST LORE

Those long ass vertical tunnels made me never want to play this version. Seriously... Why?
>>3442172
have you playtested it? Takes only a few minutes to get to the first tunnel. Have you experienced them first hand? I'm not asking you to play the whole game, just making sure your opinion on these sections is not just based on expectation. As for why: the game maintains a balance between horizontal and vertical sections. It does not have any open areas. Horizontal and vertical sections "balance" each other, so any type of movement doesn't wear you down mentally. They expand the movements you perform, and the abilities desirable to perform them. Think of it as two different styles of gameplay switching back and forth, as the character gradually becomes more suited to them.

D-do you have the download link to that map?
>>3437990
Is this supposed to be vaguely based on Earth? Like you start in Africa go to North America, walk through japan and end up in australia?
>>3443184
what is this? its beautiful
>>3443549
Looks like system shock.
>>3443549
System Shock 1
>>3442234
That's a pretty big stretch
