What are some essential VR party/multiplayer games? Looking for

I fucking hate crash bandicoot but CTR is best kart racer. Emulate that bad boy in 1440p or whatever the fuck and have yourself a time. Chu Chu Rocket is dope until someone realizes the randomization in that game is kind of bullshit. Every mario party game is cancer, avoid that degenerate trash. Power Stone 2 is all right.

Super Bomberman 5 emulates well and has 4 player support, but if that's not enough Saturn Bomberman goes up to 10. Emulation of this one might be shoddy though.

I don't get it, if you've watched Mario Party Party than you already understand the appeal of the games. Nobody goes around heralding how well made they are (do they?), in fact I'm pretty sure how unbalanced it is is exactly why it's so popular as a drunk pastime. I understand not liking it for this reason, also, but everyone should experience a competitive game with friends at least once.

Since no one is replying on the controller thread, I converted the pic to a Bomberman one. I wish I had friends to play alongside me. They are all on Xbox One playing Overwatch now (admittedly my penis does approve of Tracer). Until I mod my US TurboDuo to play Japanese HuCards (or get enough money for a Turbo Everdrive), I only have Bomberman '94 on my Japanese PSN account.

I do not know why I do not like the polygon rendered Bomberman games like the one on Dreamcast (the N64 ones were quest/puzzle and great though). I am guessing it is because my old mind cannot adapt to how the bottom of the field has slightly visually larger elements due to some perspective, thus drawing my eyes towards that portion of the field, opposed to the abstract grid view of the classic titles where the top and bottom are relatively equal to my mind.

If you don't mind sports games (most on /vr/ don't like them but I do), NBA Jam and WWF No Mercy are pretty fun multiplayer games.

If you have an N64, get a copy of Battletanx to play with 4 people, it's a blast. I'd say Vigilante 8 also, but that tends to lag with that many people.
Get Gauntlet II and an NES fourscore if you don't own both already, Gauntlet always makes a good game for friends/guests to drop in or drop out of an ongoing game.

I feel those multiplayer blues too anon. Incidentally, do you have one of pic related? Wondered if any other anons have had one and if there are any glaring issues with it, or whether I should spend 2-3 times the price to get a Team player and an EA adapter instead.
My only multiplayer genesis game right now is NBA Jam anyway, low priority for now
