Even if it does those gamecube usb adapters only work with Smash Bros anyway, to my knowledge there isn't any other game that supports it.

Nintendont is able to use it to simulate all GC's library, which is cool.

Also, I've been thinking, the Wii U wouldn't be that bad if it cost 150 bucks: you get all the goodness of the Wii with a little but strong set of great exclusive games.

Can it sense the "click" of the shoulder triggers?

My wii U is basically there to play my wii games through hdmi at this point. I play my gamecube games through scart and an upscaler so I don't really need to own a wii standard at all at this point.

I have been considering running the wii u through the scaler, when it goes into wii mode it outputs at a set 480p and looks like absolute shit on the big screen.
