I dunno. I've been searching for "Turbo SNES" for playing >SNES >shmups, but I cant seem to find anything that isn't mega autistic shaped. (My iBuffalo SNES pad is perfect and has turbo, but it's USB only.)

I ended up ordering a "Tyco Power Plug", which should hopefully let me use my OEM controllers.

How do you make the N64 controller worse?

Cut off the side prongs and make the control stick so flimsy it can snap off if you play too hard!

It's weird to think that everyone knew someone that owned this, and you were always stuck with it when you played with three other people. I like to think that the N64 would just spontaneously generate one of these after a while.

I never understood this function, at first I thought it could be useful for fighting games, but then I realized that if your opponent block/counter a complex combo, you're stuck with your controller doing commands that will fuck you even harder.

I actually like the 360 pad, besides the godawful dpad.
Dual Shock is arguably better overall. I got big hands though so I hold the 360 controller just as well, and I even don't mind the original XBox brick controller.

I got one of these for my SNES way back when. Nice idea but then you plug it in and realise the feel of the D-pad pushing in was a crucial feedback mechanism. This pad basically steals an essential sensory cue from your gameplay experience.
