I don't know about the aes but keep in mind some revisions of the mvs board make a harder chip installation than others. I have a mvs 1fz and I was pretty lucky it's one of the few that are socketed so you can pretty much just take the old chip out by hand and shove the new one in. With some you have to unsolder the old chip to wire up each individual pin to the board (i'm pretty sure you can get adapters from some sellers online but they're probably expensive and you still have to unsolder the old chip)

neo bios masta cd is an easy install on neo cd top loaders, that, unibios and pc-2-neo usb ($170 when I emailed the maker years ago) lets you play most cd, aes and mvs games. I really wanted one for decreased load times but built an emulation box and sold the hardware instead. It was a mistake I still regret.
