Why did this series die after only two games, /vr/?

~~I'm not counting MediEvil: Resurrection because that was an attempted revival of the series after it had already died five years before its release. ~~Key phrase being "ATTEMPTED revival".~~~~

Because Sony is shit and they either turn everything to shit or kill them. Even modern titles are dead, like GoW, Sly or Ratchet. Even Uncharetarded is dead.

Pretty much this. There have been so many great franchises on Sony consoles that they just threw away for no reason. If they sold poorly or something I could understand, but no they were all quite popular.

Look at Wipeout for example, great racing series that was popular as hell thrown out for no reason.
