Which version of 幻影都市 (Illusion City) should I play?

Those are basically the only plus points aside from the intro which you can watch without playing the rest of that port.

I played the MSX version it was good it's kind of like Snatcher meets Phantasy Star but it locked me into a big difficulty jump around disk 4 that I got stuck on and haven't been playing it If disk 6 gets translated maybe then.

Because Kojima is notorious for plagiarizing other people's work.

If someone finally cracks it, the FM Towns version will likely be the best fit. You'd get the enhanced FM-synth music from the PC-98 version + smoother scrolling than the others.

Somehow I doubt he remembered to play Illusion City either when it came out or later. He actually did play another J-PC cyberpunk game, Imitation City for the FM-7/PC-88 (written by future Chunsoft lead writer Jiro Ishii, http://fm-7.com/museum/softhouse/datawest/330200900.html), which influenced and partly inspired Snatcher.

Will this work on an msx2 or does it require a turbo?
