What are your thoughts on this game? I've played a bit of

I liked it. Reminded me of the kind of isometric fad on home computers in the 80's like Head Over Heels.

Good game; it does take a bit to get used to the perspective "riddles" being part of the gameplay, but once you shift into gear it's great fun

Also, the PAL cover was such random bullshit

I bought Solstice the other day and I got lost and confused and I died and I don't know what the potions do.

the "one hit and the room is resetted" is quite boring.

However, i think this game is one of those who inspired the binding of isaac

There are a lot of these type of games on retro computers by a developer called Ultimate Play The Game which in hindsight is an unfortunate name for a developer in the keyword age but Ultimate Play The Game went on to become Rare so if you enjoy isometric platformers I encourage you to check out their games and the knock offs of their games.
