Are your pads worn or is the silicone torn?
A decent temporary fix is rubbing graphite on the pads...but I'm guessing you want them 100%?
You could try finding a controller with good buttons in bad shape or otherwise broken, salvaging the parts you need.
I'm sort of in the same boat on a dreamcast controller...

Dunno about SNES controllers, but you can fix a NES controller by salvaging an N64 controller.

Were the original pads actually broken? Cus if not then just clean them.

oh thats a bitch. i now keep old rubbers of any controller i find, and if needed and dont have the exact one, just cut the single one and glue it to the button. it works fine
