Your opinion on the hoot sound player? I'm trying to get

I like the piano visualizer it has for channels but its all in moonrunes. Make sure your music files are in the right directory.

Just drag and drop the files to the player (for the msx it's the KSS file you need to drop into it for example). Rest is just double clicking the the track you want to play from the list.

If you did get the right ini enhancements and put the correct music files in the right folder. Open up Hoot and hit Ctrl+R.

but when I did and pressed ctrl+R it just loads up the xml files and nothing happens.
