if you don't like them, that's your choice. If some other anon loves them, and one in particular, they consider it the best thing ever, who's to deny them that position? Labeling a genre as a whole is being kind of narrow-minded and unhelpful. Finding out why someone might like a game from a genre you usually don't get into, might help to develop new views on that genre, or understand the motivation of players a bit better.
Though considering you started with "it's true", I am afraid you have no interest in an honest exchange on the subject anyway, and are just trolling. Sad.

That said, if I had to pick a singular favourite outside of RPGs...

It'd be a tie. Either Bomberman 64: the Second Attack or Star Fox 64.

Though, if Panzer Dragoon had a Star Fox 64 style multiplayer dogfight mode it'd probably steal the spotlight there cause that game was beautiful.

I used an actual Dreamcast for mine (shooting Astaroth out of a cannon on the VMU was pretty fun too), but I'm pretty sure that there's a good emulator out there. As >>3196732 suggested, that works great too. I think vizzed.com runs Dreamcast games now as well.
