dang, skype gets to be even worse than steam just for messaging

since no one broke its new procotol yet, you have to run the real skype program, and an old PC capable of running tons of retro shit can barely run skype heh

am i the only one still using ICQ connected in miranda-IM occupying 1MB RAM


at one point i had msn/gtalk/yim/icq on miranda, yim didnt catchon and msn and gtalk have migrated to other protocols and shit

Anyone interested in Mortal Kombat 2 netplay? I'm really shit at it, but it's the only multiplayer game I have that I can play competently.

I would be up to play something tomorrow with Retroarch,i'm interested to see how the netplay works.

to be frank, irc is the most logical choice, but only if its for something that is the least bit popular, say, C&C Doom, so that you would find half a dozen players any time during weekend you chose to log in

but a low profile always online instant messenger works best if you just want to play some specific titles whenever X players are available

i did this for RecWar a few yeards ago, we got to have a dozen ppl on ICQ, and whenever someone logged in and saw 3 other ppl online he would message all of them and we would play a match
