Any ntsc-u racers with the depth of gt2 out there? Doesn't have to be licensed cars or even cars. Has to have upgrades/adjustments and sim-like physics.

Favorite "serious" retro racing game.
Don't know of any sadly.

Agreed, awesome game. Bring seattle back polyphony! The intro music was absolute garbage though.

PC sims of any age, there are sims released in 90's that carry incredible amount of immersion because color palette, textures and models somehow pull you straight in the 90's much more than any modern game can regardless of mod.
On psx the absolutely best one was TOCA WTC, it has weather effects, day/night cycle, realistic damage and physics (we are talking home console of the 2k realistic)

I want to hatefuck you with L14 camshaft for dissing "My favourite game" by Cardigans, song that made me download all of their discography 15 years after I played GT2.

I'm dumb, I thought garbage did the intro and was attempting a funny. Stuff me like a 400 crank in a 350 block senpai, I deserve it.

you fucking what
After much consideration I decided I think "real racing" games are much better in the modern era. I love GT2, but I'm not gonna play it over Forza or whatever the newest GT is.

6 is better and still has the online servers.
I <3 drift trains!
This isn't about that though. More games like TOCA.

What do you think of First Band On The Moon?
This one will kick you in the nuts if you don't do specific tuning for each track.

Loved it.
