problem is, half board models are pretty rare.
other solution is to get a megaamp board will restore sound quality. But you need to open and do some soldering. Totally worth it.

And if you use RGB then you have to deal with shit load of buzzing audio, unless you splurge for expensive shielded cables, make your own cables, or connect the headphone connector directly to an amp (but in that case you are using a model 1 anyway, not the model 2 like OP asked).
