the only downside to this game is the password system not saving all your ammunition... aside from that one of the best co-ops ever.

Don't want to get into this age-old debate, but one PAL benefit was slower but smoother framerate overall, i.e. no slowdowns when a lot of shit was happening on screen. Compare Super Probotector/Contra 3 for example. Also most games adjusted for 50mhz.

On the SNES that is. Mega Drive is clearly superior in NTSC.

Although I had both an SNES and a Genesis growing up, I couldn't afford games for my SNES, so most of my experience is with the Genesis.

That being said, Mega Bomberman has an awesome multiplayer battle mode. There were numerous Super Bomberman titles for SNES as well, although I can't comment on any of them since I haven't played them yet.
