The SNES game is a cookie cutter platform game with colourful backgrounds. It has no strong points otherwise.

The Genesis one has great animation, huge and well designed levels with a lot of secrets, a lot of humour, levels where you control Abu, a level where you control Carpet, and you have sword fighting instead of "jump on the enemies head to win". And all the major songs from the movie. Only weak point is that all boss fights involved throwing apples (except maybe the thief dude).

SNES Aladdin was an okay game but the Genesis one was an actual AAA class home conversion.

LOL it's just a standard Virgin platformer with unfocused western-style level design and wonky hitboxes/land detection.
The only redeeming thing is the sprite animation and the fact actual disney animators worked on it, the actual game is really mediocre.

Capcom's game has pretty tight controls but it's pretty short and not one of Capcom's best licensed titles, but anyway a Capcom game will always be better than a Virgin game.

Anyway there's many other great games on Genesis, Aladdin shouldn't be on a list of best games for the system.

PC has one of the highest framerates for a sprite scaling game that looks as good as it does. Only burning force and outrun 2019 are up there, and it's sure better than anything on SNES (mode 7 conveyor belt is not sprite scaling).

Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition. There is a clear difference between the two Genesis games, and Rampage Edition was far more fun.

If you want a RPG I highly suggest checking out Shadowrun. Though be warned, the start of the game is a bit slow due to not being properly equipped nor having the skill set to do medium ranked runs. Though once you quickly get over that hurtle the game is a blast.
