well, vidya magazines in the 90s covered that, too, so you didn't read them enough... I guess?
Saturn version is better (more impressive background effects), but honestly the 32bit ports of EWJ suffer from some issues with the controls. I still think the SNES version is the best, gameplay-wise. Genesis is good too, but unlike EWJ1, I like EWJ2 better on SNES.
