I played them all on emulator, had a ball. Such good games.

Especially those games will bug quite hard when not played on CRT. You should at least use ZSNES, since it's the most accurate emulator out there.

Yes, 3 of 4 from those games contain "CRT security checking measures" and will not boot on any other type of display.

I use a good filter to round the sprites out very slightly, then use the CRT filter to create the dither.

Works better than one would expect.

Not really. Unless you really like CRTs, or are planning to get a SNES. Getting actual hardware (retro)consoles to look good on an HDTV is a PITA and will usually require a good and expensive scaler.

RPGs don't really require twitch reactions so you're not missing out on much beyond aesthetics by not playing on CRT.

On the other hand, by playing on emulators you're tempting yourself with save states which can definitely ruin an RPG and even make it unplayable if you use them foolishly. Also, with real carts your save games are right there with the game for the long run while most people are more likely to lose emulator save files. Of course, SNES RPGs are pretty expensive so that's probably a major con.
