Hey /vr/, I've been looking for Tips & Tricks magazine for October 1998 but all I can find is the cover. Do I have any chance of finding scans of it?
Also gaming magazine thread I guess.

I hated Tips & tricks.
>>2789615
> hating a ZD publication written by the same people as EGM
Did it rape your mother or something? It wasn't something to subscribe to but it was cheaper than buying a strategy guide to a new game and often easier to find too.

I read my gaming magazines from cover to cover.
(This was when I didnt have internet) so it was my only source of info.
I dunno, I would just pick one of these up off the shelf in the store and see it's half codes, half reader artwork, and like 2 gaming articles.

>it's half codes, half reader artwork, and like 2 gaming articles.
Wow, I'm surprised something called "TIPS & TRICKS" doesn't really have much to offer beside... oh I don't know... tips and tricks.
>>2789635
So what you're confirming is your baby tier magazine is nothing but tips and & tricks and you can just google the cheats online instead of seeing a scan.
Good, now fuck off
>>2789638
That guy isn't OP.
>>2789638
You think that everyone on the planet having internet was a thing in the 90s don't you?
>>2789643
This isn't the 90's.
>>2789625
Tips & Tricks was published by Larry Flint. it had nothing to do with Ziff Davis or EGM.
>>2789646
It'll always be the 90s here, Anon.
>>2789652
Oh shit you're right. I was thinking of Expert Gamer. Carry on.
>>2789614
God I hope you find it - who else will know about those Spice World cheats?

Tip & Trick #1: Spice up your life
ITS TIME TO KICK THIS SHITFEST OFF.
WHY PS1 WAS BETTER:
Official Playstation Magazine came with a free demo disk EVERY MONTH with around 10 games you could try on it and even video footage!
WHY N64 WAS SHIT:
NO DEMOS, 70$ Cartridges.
>>2789615
Fuck you
>>2789615
Was the the one made by Larry flint?
>>2789676
>disk rot
Meanwhile, cartridges are forever, bro.
>>2789614
This thread has gone to shit awfully fast but I've got this issue. I don't necessarily have time to scan the whole thing but if there's something particular you want I'll try to get it done for you because magazine bros gotta stick together.

>Spice World cheats
You joke, but I remember being highly amused to learn there was a "handbag worship" code where the girls dance around a pile of purses on the floor. Apparently this was something that was claimed to happen at clubs, if anyone remembers people talking about the "handbag" electronic music genre. I think it was a Brit thing, we weren't really tuned into electronic stuff in the US.
>>2789848
That sounds pretty scary... not even joking.
A bunch of cackling whores dancing and chanting around their money filled expensive handbags...
Witch burners had the right idea.
>>2789840
OP here, that would be pretty cool anon.
I'm most interested in the pages discussing Thrill Kill, but other than that the Reader's Tips, the Japan Report and the Cool Zone would be great as well.
If you don't have it, I have issue 49 if there's anything you'd want me to dump in return,

Does this apply to every boy *and* every girl?
>>2790625
No problem
(1/4)
>>2790912
I do believe so, yes.
But first you must slam it to the left, and then if I'm not mistaken, you proceed to shake it to the right.
>>2791810
You left out the bit where you put the chicas to the front and go round.
Any sites with scans of old Gamepros, Nintendo Power, EGM from the early to mid-90s?
>>2791952
There's 1 or 2 sites dedicated to archiving old video game magazines
>>2791993
And those are...?
>>2795853
I just figured you guys were competent enough to type "retro video game magazine archive" into google. Perhaps I have too much faith in anons.
