Maybe try a big arcade site, like KLOV (do they have forums?) or BYOAC? I know the latter has tons of people with specialist knowledge on different arcade stuff, so I'd try there if nothing else.

I wish you luck. You should probably try out some place like neo-geo, or shmup forums. A lot of the guys there are probably more knowledge about about arcades then your average 4chan user.

If you literally just want to buy a chip that has a program on it, then just make it your own.

All you need is a chip programmer, a pin compatible EPROM, and maybe a UV lamp to erase it if things go bad.

For chip programmers, I bought one of these Willems a while back and it worked for me. I've never had any problems with it, but I don't know how reliable it truly is.

Memory can be found through ebay or mouser or digikey or etc.

Good UV lamps are expensive, but chepos burn out easily. Ebay for these too.

I don't have an answer for you, I just wanted to say that that is cool as shit.
