What are the essential tank-controls-and-prerendered-backgrounds games?

Well obviouly you know about Fear Effect and Resident Evil is a dead giveaway.
Parasite Eve 2's pretty fun. Not as good as the first but that's less tanky more RPGy

Onimusha is one of the best, though not technically retro
Dino Crisis 2
Trag
Vampire Hunter D
Galerians

Pic unrelated, right?

>Galerians
love that game but the backgrounds are poor.
Koudelka is another good choice.

Kind of enjoyed PE2 more than the first. The abandoned & lonely atmosphere out in the desert just really appealed to my autism.
Deep Fear on the Saturn. Survival horror with wonderfully bad voice acting, even worse that the original Resident Evil's. A lot of fun too and a surprisingly affecting plot and likeable characters.
Never released in the US and a PAL copy is expensive, but worth tracking down if you like old tank control games.

>RE remake
>Parasite Eve
>Final Fantasy 7
>Fear Effect
>Dino Crisis 2
Just what I can think of.

what about it? Not the best Ive ever seen but hardly worth mentioning in regards to some of what we saw in the past
This was pretty good, and the flashlight actually affecting the CG background was pretty cool.
