What made you pick it up again? I dropped it right before I got to the third island almost a year ago too out of increasing disappointment the farther it went on. I wanted to like it so badly too.

I finished it myself, but I quit even though I wanted to do Ultra Beast stuff. I tried to play Sun but keep quitting. Tutorial is too long.

One of the little things that bothers me the most is how the (male) protag swings his when he walks. Maybe the female does it too, but I never picked her. I don't think he changes his expressions either.

Not OP, but I picked it up from the second island after news of US/UM was released. I bought it on release day and dropped it after a week. Getting through the rest of it was a slog. Haven't touched it since getting passed the credits.
