I mean its a cool design and all and it could've been a good bootleg Scizor if it weren't for that ability but I really wanna know, since it is still aquatic, how the hell would it move underwater? Not only is that speed stat atrocious but the humanoid body form and weight would make it really hard to move in the deep sea. Is there any other Pokemon that are really unsuitable for the enviroment they are supposed to live in?

Isopods are primarily bottom dwellers, so it wouldn't mind sluggishly keeping itself afloat when it spends a majority of it's time on the sea floor. Its silly to assume that it should be as adept as a motorboat or something. I assume when it needs to swim quickly it cheats its way out by using a cheap movement that is visually-esque to Aqua Jet. With the existence of this move, don't think water types with physically impossible swimming anatomy are that much of an issue anymore.

That was fanart anon.
Curious, how does it stand competitively?
Did it's ability really fuck it or can it work?

With the existence of Psychic Terrain, I'd say it's ability is nothing but a hindrance. If it wasn't so reliant on priority, it'll still be able to manage with it's good natural bulk and STAB healing move.
