I played through sun when it came out, and now I'm looking to play through moon. The problem is, I'm playing through in a way too similar way. I haven't really had this problem with previous gens. I have a completed living pokedex, and I'm wondering for any suggestions on how to mix it up that isn't a nuzlocke. I believe my last playthrough team was:

Decidueye
Ninetails (Alolan)
Marowak (Alolan)
Lycanroc
Salazzle
Kommo-o

Have you tried team rotations? Or only using Pokemon you get in Wonder Trade?

Do a mono type run, use gen 2, 1, and 7 mons only, a fun type to pick is grass for the difficulty, you can only use super potions and regular potions with exp.share off.
