Why are so many people quick to defend a game that hasn't even come out yet?
Don't get me wrong, there are people on the opposite side of the spectrum who say the game is shit before it comes out and they are just as wrong. I'm not on either side. I'm just judging what I see as I get and I'll wait until the game comes out and judge it fully then.
But goddamn, there are so much more people who are quick to make up bullshit and go full Gamefreak defence force and they are much more egregious.

People defend unreleased games based on the history of other installments of the same kind, that's all. Needless to say, none of us know whether the games will turn out good or bad in the end.
