I think they need to put a few more rare spawns in thebearly game. Especially Mt. Moot. There's some pretty decent pokemon there, but since you don't get the macho brace until activia town, all their EVs are garbage. You also can't control for quality like you can once you get to beehive city.

I think the beginning is pretty good on memes though.

If you are using VBA and the new patched rom filename is the same as the old faulty rom's filename, the save file will carry over but with the errors fixed.

Let me tell you something right now.

If I want to play a Pokemon game, I'd play a Pokemon game that's actually fun. If I have to grind for hours on end just to get to two levels below what my next rival's Pokemon's levels are, then it goes without saying that the game is not fun at all. To add to this, you are tricked into giving up your own terrible catches for a 1% chance of getting something decent, then having that decent Pokemon not listen to jack shit after getting it to like level 25 or something, so you either have to deal with that or go to the daycare to get a new, obedient Pokemon (so long as you got that one "shitmon" that, surprise surprise, is actually Clover's Ditto.)

And, oh boy, look at that! Now you are back at step one; grinding for hours on end just to barely compete with your rival because this game has no difficulty curve at all, but instead, a difficulty ramp that's absurdly high for such an early event in the game. And since these kinds of posts, which are actually thought out and capture the sole problems in this game, are usually met with shithead replies such as "git gud" from that one prepubescent kid who just so happened to pick Lizakbar and Batterex.

That is what made me feel that way, anon. That is why I quit playing.

You know since then the game got updated a lot. Now the Wonder Trades obedience levels are balanced much better. Not sure what you mean by the grinding. Machine, you have the option to go to Wave 666, one of the most difficult missions in vanilla matchmaking.
