Why is it so hard to find a reasonably priced, authentic

Nintendo didn't print as much due to the poke walker. That and it has DRM making it a bitch to emulate.

The DSTwo has an onboard CPU that it uses for GBA emulation, real-time saves and other stuff. Problem is, when you insert it on a 3DS the system will constantly send power to the cart to power that CPU, even when it's not in use. This makes the battery consumption skyrocket just from having it inserted in your system, even in sleep mode, even when playing (digital) 3DS games.

You can test this out yourself using your Acekard or simply having a game cart inserted instead of the DSTwo.

It's dumb how you have to delete the entire Pokewalker data if you want to start a new game or use the accessory with another save/cart in general. I lose all my unlocked courses, so many steps.

It makes the biggest impact on sleep mode, so if you don't use sleep much it's at best a 15-20% difference in battery life. But if you use sleep mode a lot, you can really notice it draining when it shouldn't.
