If this was back in the AG or DP era's this would have been a big deal, since Brock was still on the cast. It would make it seem like either May or Dawn were replaced by Misty, essentially giving those Misty fans who complained about her being "replaced" for all those years their satisfaction of seeing her back.

It's weird because the original trio reuniting now doesn't feel like a big deal as if it happened 10 years ago. Probably because there were more Misty fans online back then ranting and raving about Misty being replaced or how much they hated the anime or May/Dawn, etc. that it made me happy to see them not get what they wanted.

But a decade later most of them are gone now, so my bitter resentment toward Misty fans has cooled down. Now I really don't mind, since it's only for 2 eps anyway.
