Honestly Regigigas might need a decent ability to be Uber. A pure Normal-type with only ok speed and good damage output but limited coverage and very limited recovery doesn't sound inherently broken on paper, imo. Maybe it would be, but anything with a strong Fighting move will force it out, and many Pokémon should be able to switch into it, especially something like Sableye. I imagine Return/Drain Punch/Knock Off/something else idk would be Gigas' moveset. Idk, I don't think it would be instabanned if it got Illuminate, imo, is all I'm saying.

The sad thing is that Regigigas would need more than that.

There are pokemon in Ubers with both a good ability AND higher stats than it. And Regigigas doesn't really have any tricks exclusive to it from it's movepool. It's just a somewhat-speedy physical attacker when Slow Start doesn't apply.

Slaking, fine. It's a normal Pokémon stats similar to Mewtwo's. But Regigigas is a trio master.

Also Archeops should get a non-hindering ability. It's not like its stats are so tremendously high that it needs one. Give it, like, Early Bird if you absolutely need to give it something shit.

Archeops has been my favourite pokemon forever, and I've been counting the days until it gets a HA for that same reason. Base 140/110 attack and speed were kind of strong in Gen 5, but not anymore. And it doesn't even have flying gem anymore.
