>/vp/ is now filled with ADD-riddled children who get bored of a new games in a month then start begging Game Freak to rush the next game out, only for the cycle to repeat again
>the aforementioned ADD-riddled children beg for news, get news, then start begging for more news
>/padt/ has been dead ever since the Kalos League shitstorm
Should this board even exist anymore? With game and anime discussion both dead, the only thing left is shitposting, metagame discussion, and waifufaggotry.

>/padt/ has been dead ever since the Kalos League shitstorm
But OP, the anime is now entirely targeted at ADD-riddled children, and unlike before it's completely unwatchable by anyone else. So shouldn't /padt/ be thriving now?

>With game and anime discussion both dead, the only thing left is shitposting, metagame discussion, and waifufaggotry.
It has been this way for much longer

/padt/ died because it created by delusional retards who thought that Ash would actually win a league or "AmourShipping" would go anywhere
When XY was in filler territory, the Amourfags still had their ship, but Sun/Moon has no shipping faggotry, so there is no cancerous romantic subplot to keep people hooked when nothing else is going on

Anime general threads existed long before the Kalos league, Serena, or the start of the XY series.

They were nowhere near as frequent or populous before XY.
XY brought in an influx of cancer.

If /vp/ died, other than getting nostalgic every now and then I'd only be truly and immediately concerned about what would become of Showderp. I've otherwise given up on this board some time ago. People have become too addicted to news/leaks to the point they take it all for granted, without realizing GameFreak have always been shit at making games and show no signs of changing. Besides, I suppose you're bound to get tired of rampant (not always ironic) shitposting, furfaggotry, blatant underagefags and so on after spending years in such a place.
If anything, I've no shadow of an idea of how /padt/ still exists. Most people don't like the anime to begin with; only a handful actually enjoy SM, and let's leave the merit of their tastes to another discussion, but the point is that everyone else hates and trashtalks the anime, including the people who post in those threads. Is that boredom and/or delusion, or am I missing the gist?

we dont get bored of the new games, the new games are boring
