Yeah anon. Also set the battle style to set, only use three pokemon at a time, and release anything that faints. This is how the game was meant to be played.

It would be pretty great if the difficulty from that point in the game was scaled with player controlled legendaries in mind. Would be extra challenging for those who decide to keep using standard Pokemon.
