Xerneas beat's this Dialga 10 times out of 10.

Iron Head from this Dialga is a 2HKO on Xern, while Xern is faster and 2HKO's back with Moonblast, unless Geomancy already went off in which case Moonblast is a OHKO on this Dialga. Why go mixed at all?

Well shit, I just did some calcs and it seems the only way this dialga will be able to get the secure kill would be if it ran AV, I underestimated the bulk of xerneas. Or if I replace iron head with iron tail and run life orb

Part of the reason I went mixed if for the surprise factor when they would send in a defensive tank only to take a 130bp special move, also max sp.Atk life orb flash canon doesn't even get a secure OHKO on xern which is what this is meant to lure and kill

I'd personally go all into Sp.Atk rather than mixed.

The first two moves are STAB - Dragon Pulse and Flash Cannon. As for the other two, there's quite a few options between Aura Sphere, Earth Power, Power Gem, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, and Flamethrower. Personally, here's my analysis: Dragon/Steel STAB is only resisted by fairy, other steel types, electric, water, and fire. Which means I'd definitely pick Power Gem and Aura Sphere for the most coverage, and most types that can be hit for super-effective damage, which would be as follows: Dragon, Bug, Steel, Rock, Fairy, Ice, Flying, Fire, Normal, and Dark. That's 10/18 types - however, I don't think anything would resist every move this set.

This is max sp.Atk and a positive nature Aura Sphere VS max attack neutral nature iron tail. I understand that chansey isn't used in ubers but it showcases what I'm getting at, Dialga has the stats to abuse a mixed set not using its base 120 attack stat at all seems wasteful when you won't be out speeding much of anything with a 90 base speed stat. But I see your point when it comes to coverage.
