Easily the animal noises. It was one of the reasons why I enjoyed Generations. And as I get older, I find Pokemon saying their own names to be cringey and pointless.

Some do say their names, others just make animal noises that may or may not sound as if they're just repeating a syllable/letter from their name
>e.g. charizard just roars, at least in the japanese version of the anime, birds usually just make bird noises but not always, rowlet sure does though
